A visual highlight of the #IdahoFallsTemple is its central spire. Three LDS temples dedicated before the Idaho Falls Temple were built without any towers or spires (Laie Hawaii, Cardston Alberta, and Mesa Arizona). You can see the spire, reaching for the sky, as you pass by on the freeway. Want to see it up close? Take the Riverside Dr./Center Street exit off of Highway US-20 (exit 119).
The statue of Christ stands at the center of the Idaho Falls Temple Visitors' Center, portraying how Christ is central to God's plan for His children. With hands outstretched, the invitation is for all to come unto Christ. Christ speaks through an audio feature, available in over 30 languages, and promises that all who "listen to [His] words … shall have peace in [Him]." Experience His peace at the #IdahoFallsTemple.
Spend an evening at the #IdahoFallsTemple to see Idaho's gorgeous sunsets light up the sky! Sunset is about 9 p.m. until the end of July. Bring your friends and family to enjoy one of God's beautiful creations, then walk over to the visitors' center to learn about the blessings He offers us in temples.
A new MEET THE MORMONS film, "The Craftsman," is now showing at the visitors' center. The 20-minute video documents the story of Danny Sorenson, a former bishop and airplane pilot from Bountiful, Utah. It took Danny 14 years to build a plane. He said, "The whole time that I thought I was crafting this airplane, my Heavenly Father was crafting me." The visitors’ center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. #MeetTheMormons

A Day for the Eternities Come see the events surrounding the translation of the Book of Mormon in Fayette, New York, in “A Day for the Eternities,” a new film now playing at the Idaho Falls Temple Visitors' Center. This film shares the experiences of David Whitmer as Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdrey stay with his family in Fayette, New York to finish the translation of the Book of Mormon. David became a witness of the gold plates, and the Church was officially organized in his home on April 6, 1830. You can see this film at the visitors' center upon request. #IdahoFallsTemple
Witness Oliver Cowdery’s experience as Joseph Smith’s scribe during the translation of the Book of Mormon in “Days of Harmony,” a new film now playing at the visitors' center. The 25-minutes film depicts the translation of the Book of Mormon, the restoration of the priesthood, and the first Latter-day Saint baptisms in Harmony, Pennsylvania. View this film anytime from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. upon request. #HydeParkChapel
